This agreement is between Waxhaw Home Finds (“Company”) and the Consignor (“Client”). By engaging the Company’s services, the Client agrees to the following terms:
Services
The Company will evaluate, clean, photograph, list, sell, and ship accepted items. Detailed reports of sales will be provided. The Client grants exclusive rights to sell the items during the consignment period and agrees to provide accurate descriptions.
Consignment Period
The consignment period is 90 days. Unsold items after this period will be returned at the Client’s expense, donated, or disposed of based on prior instructions.
Fees and Payment
The Company will retain a commission based on the final sale price:
-Basic: 60%
-Premium: 50%
-Estate: 40%
Additional fees apply for optional services such as cleaning, storage, and item disposal. Payments to the Client will be made within 30 days of the sale.
Item Requirements
Accepted items must be high-value, durable, and easy to ship, with a minimum resale value of $30. Oversized, fragile, low-value, or prohibited items will be rejected or returned at the Client’s expense.
Client Responsibilities
The Client certifies they are the legal owner of consigned items and guarantees their authenticity. The Client indemnifies the Company against claims arising from ownership disputes or misrepresentation.
Liability
The Company is not liable for damage, loss, theft, or platform disruptions beyond reasonable control. Items returned by buyers will be relisted or returned to the Client at the Company’s discretion.
Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement with written notice. Unsold items will be returned at the Client’s expense.
Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of North Carolina. Disputes will be resolved in Union County, North Carolina.
All items must be pre-approved with a submission form including descriptions and photos. Approved items will be assigned a Consignment ID.
Accepted items must be high-value, durable, easy to ship, and have a minimum resale value of $30. Examples include vintage kitchenware, home décor, textiles, and collectibles.
Prohibited items include oversized or heavy items (furniture, large appliances), fragile or hazardous items (glassware, ceramics), counterfeit items, or items valued below $30 (unless bundled).
Items must be clean and free of significant damage. Fees apply for cleaning or minor repairs.
Clients are responsible for delivering items to our drop off location or schedule an item pickup (fees apply). Items must be securely packed. Waxhaw Home Finds is not liable for damage due to inadequate packaging.
Clients certify they are the legal owners of submitted items and guarantee their authenticity. Counterfeit or misrepresented items will be returned at the client’s expense.
Unsellable items will be returned, donated, or disposed of as instructed. Fees may apply for donation or disposal.
The consignment period is 90 days. Unsold items after this period will be handled based on the client’s prior instructions.
Additional fees for services like cleaning, repairs, or rush listings will be deducted from payouts unless paid in advance.
Items that are abandoned will be disposed of, sold, or donated after 120+ days.
